The simple present tense

Presentation I like this park. I think its very nice. My friend thinks so as well. We come here every Saturday. We live nearby, so it doesnt take us long to get here.

Focus

We use the simple present tense for: 1. Thoughts and feelings: I think, My friend thinks, I like 2. Facts: We live nearby. He lives in this village. 3. Repeated action: We come here every Saturday.

Formation
Positive: I/ you/ we/ they/ plural noun - bare form he/ she/ it/ singular noun - singular form Negative: do not or dont does not or doesnt Question: Do + subject + verb? Does + subject + verb?

We live nearby. She lives in the city. He doesnt live nearby. Does she live nearby? Where do you live?
