PRE-PLANNING
Objectives ( 5 min)
The teacher will explain that we are going to work again with the past simple like we did in the last class. And how to get personal information. But this time we will use it asking questions.
Materials
Warm up ( 5 min)
The teacher is going to explain that we will work with questions in past simple in order to ask personal information about other students and know more about each other, is important to highlight this last point because we want to create a relaxed environment between them
PRESENTATION (30 min) The teacher will write sentences about his personal information likes and dislikes or information of an unknown person, then he will start asking himself about those sentences using only was or were, he will also ask the students about their personal information in order to help them to recognize the use of the auxiliary verb. Once he has finish the explaining the use of was or were, He will start explaining the use of the other verbs with the auxiliary verb DID+ the infinitive verb . After this explanation the teacher will motivate the students to write in the board the rules, always supervised by the teacher.
GUIDED PRACTICE (10 min) We do Once the explanation is over the students will complete the information box of page 101 and
After the students complete the box they will do the activity C in which they have to ask each other questions about their weekend, and the matching activity D.
