II. LESSON DEVELOPMENT

PROCEDURES (Timing: 70 minutes)

Listening:

A:(alicia)

First, T presents 2 images and ask student what do they see? 4 minutes

then T ask a personal question that is relationed with the topic , do you live 5 minutes
in an urban or suburban area? Also T share a personal experience and
personal opinion

T starts with the first activity and give clear instructions , T present 3 6 minutes
questions, so Ss has to listen carefully the audio CD2 TRACK 19, analyze
and answers with complete questions.

T put the audio and Ss has to start taking notes for answers the questions 3 minutes
later. At the time that the audio ends , T ask to Ss if they need to listen one
more time.

T ask the three questions again, then T send to break up rooms for compare
their answers.

Then T choose 3 students for answers the questions in front the class,
Finally T show the answers,, and give pass to the next teacher.

B:

The teacher starts showing the slide with the activity of “listen for reasons”.
Asks students to read instructions, and asks for confirmation of 5 minutes
understanding the activity.

The teacher plays the audio “20” so the students can solve the activity.
The teacher asks students to share their answers with the class. 5 minutes
The teacher asks “Where do you want to live in the future?” and asks
students to give at least one reason of why they would like to live there.
Tneh send them into breakout rooms so they can work in pairs and share
their answers. Then come to the main session and report to the teacher.

C: The T explains to students the vocabulary they need to comprehend the
text better. T shows 4 images according to the text. Student repat after every
word that T says, also corrects if the pronunciation is wrong. T ask to
students for the meaning of the words. After the explanation of vocabulary, T 8 minutes
shows a question for the class. T ask to student to read the question and
explain that this activity will be done in breakout rooms, Ss have 5 minutes,
and T go through the groups to see the interaction. After that, T ask to Ss
about the question and follow the conversation for details. This warm up
could helpful for the next activity.

D:T starts the activity with some tasks and asks for volunteers to read the

paragraph of the article. Then, we are going to answer some questions
related to the paragraph.Then , T starts giving some instructions about the
activity and telling them what we are going to work on. At the end, T asks SS
some questions to let the activity clear. Ask SS to read some lines of the
paragraph out loud and correct them if they have mistakes. T monitors the
activity and let SS know that time is about to end. T gives SS some feedback
about the activity. T make concept questions to SS in order to check if
they understood the topic. At the end, T is going to share a little game with
SS to see how much they remember about the topic.
