Hooray for PK!

We are proud to be Americans! The children told us why they are proud to be Americans and demonstrated wonderful knowledge of our countrys symbols, landmarks, and states! They ALL did such a good job learning the Pledge of Allegiance!! Wow! We do have a wonderful country and we are lucky to live here. Now, in April, we will learn about something even bigger than the USA and continue our Hooray for the World PK theme. Next week we will observe the worlds land and water and learn to locate the continents and oceans on a map! Come in and see the large world that we will paint in our hall when you can! We will even make and eat a world cupcake! During April, there are many things that we will study about our world. We will learn about, identify, and create world people and animal homes; learn to say hello in 16 different languages; and learn to help our planet stay blue and green by recycling. Our very special program in May will show you all we have studied. Please check our April calendar for important daily topics and events.
