    People are really busy doing so many jobs in our community! Our trip to the Childrens Museum was a great way to be involved in a community. Thanks to all of our parents who were able to join us. So far, we have created a model of the Mississippi River, The Hernando Desoto Bridge, and Beale Street. Next week, we will focus on transportation and our city helpers.

    Newsletter Challenge: What is the name of the famous street in downtown Memphis? You can write your childs answer in the folder. (HintIt starts with the letter B and has lots of people listening to and playing music.)

    Help us cheer on our Basketball Team next week and get into Homecoming Spirit! Woodland Homecoming is next Friday, January 20th. Tuesday through Friday are spirit days. If your child wants to participate, we would love it! Tuesday is PJ DayCome to school in your pajamas. Wednesday is Fan DayWear your favorite team attire. Thursday is Dress up day for students and dress down day for teachers. Friday is Blue and Gold DayWear your Woodland clothes.

    GO WOODLAND GO!
