    Rosario Aranda Interviewee: The UST ice cream man Personal/Professional Questions: 1. What is your name? Francisco Abando 2. Where do you live / where did you come from? Sa Sampaloc Manila pero taga-batanggas ako. In Sampaloc Manila but I came from Batanggas. Questions regarding with realities in life: 1. How and why did you become the UST ice cream man? Basta may nagpatinda lang sa akin. All I know is that the school hired me to sell ice cream. 2. How do you find your job? Ayos lang,tiyaga-tiyaga . Its ok, just got to works hard. 3. How much do you earn? Dipende halos parehas ang kita araw-araw. Di bumababa sa 300 pesos. It depends but its usually the same. Usually it doesnt go lower than 300 pesos.

    Reflection: During our reflection upon completing the interview, we realized that we should be more like Mr. Abando. Who is a fine example of a hardworking and honest person, despite the fact of his job not offering much he still works patiently through his long work schedule all day, every day without complaining. He says that he prefers it over engaging in a dishonest vocation. He works with all his strength just to meet his needs. If the entire country would have a work ethic and sense of honesty like Mr. Abandos then we would be in the sorry state we are in today.
