Volume 28 Monday May 6, 2013 kimberleychronicle@gmail.com Welcome to our 28th issue of Kimberley Chronicle! We trust that everyone has been out enjoying the beautiful sunshine this past week. In this issue we decided to ask the candidates running in the upcoming provincial election (May 14) a set of identical questions so we could have a decent comparison. All of the candidates were great about getting back to us with the responses; we hope that this makes the difficult task of choosing a candidate to vote for somewhat easier. We looked into why Kimberley is in a different riding than Cranbrook; it turns out its purely a population per riding issue and they had to draw a line somewhere. Golden and Revelstoke are great and all, its just that we dont go there when we need to buy socks and underwear. After speaking with a friendly BC Elections official on the phone, we can safely say that it is not some secret plot to maintain a healthy rivalry between The Bavarian City of the Rockies and The Key City. As per usual we love hearing from our readers, you can get in touch with us by phone at 427-5430, by email at kimberleychronicle@gmail.com or you can check out our facebook page where we have links to all of our archived issues.

We dont want to sway peoples votes, heck we have a hard time making it to the polls ourselves. The order in which the responses are placed on the next two pages simply reflects the order in which we received the replies from these aspiring politicians.
