Editors Note: Welcome to the first edition of the ACRAG Weekly.

The aim of this one page newsletter is to keep ACRAG management, stakeholders and clients informed of what the ACRAG field office is doing and to report on the impact ACRAG programmes have on the ground on a regular basis. Comments, suggestion and observations are always welcome to improve this publication. Short write-ups are welcome from all. This week, ACRAG Naivasha will report on events conducted during the first and second weeks of June 2013. From next week the publication will be sent to you once a week on Fridays. I hope you will find this a helpful tool to keep you informed.

ACRAG Office Meeting/CLC 6 June 2013: Ms. Naomi Isoe, (Advocate) was in Naivasha to conduct the Community Legal Center which is normally done on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This day she attended to 4 clients whose complaints were labour and land issues. ACRAG Clinic 11 June 2013: Kwa Muhia, Naivasha played host to ACRAG when ACRAG conducted a legal clinic there. Ms. Naomi Isoe saw a total of 17 clients with problems ranging in subject matter from land issues to labor law matters. Community Outreach 12 June 2013: The day outreach was one of a kind as the thespians managed to reach out to a total of 245 people. That is 117 men 123 women 7 boys 12 girls.the topic of the skirt was citizen responsibility. It was termed as successful as community members fully contributed to the discussion.

CLC 4 June 2013: Ms. Naomi Isoe, Advocate was in Naivasha to conduct the Community Legal Center (CLC) programme. This programme, normally carried out at the ACRAG Naivasha Office, gives free legal advice to the Naivasha community. Ms. Isoe saw a total of 2 clients with problems ranging in subject matter from land issues to labor law matters. Community Outreach 5 June 2013: CO Theatre took place in Karagita, Naivasha: The topic of the skit was workers rights. The outreach was attended by 117 men 123 women 7 boys 12 girls. We have arranged that moving forward, we shall be taking a survey of what the spectators thought of the skits and the impact it has had on them if any.
