Presentation ( 15 minutes)

Simple present tense

STEP 1 -Teacher ask pupils to refer their text book. -Teacher speaks about action in the picture in the textbook and ask pupils to point out at the pictures that was told by teacher. STEP 2

-Pupils look at the picture and identify the action told by the teacher by pointing out at the picture.

Level 2 -Teacher writes 3 simple sentences based on the action on the pictures. -Teacher asks pupils to identify the words in present tense by underline it on the blackboard. Teacher asks pupils to write down the sentences in the book. Write words and phrases in clear and legible cursive writing.

Practice (15 minutes)

Read A loud. Simple present tense

-In pair, teacher asks pupils to read aloud the sentences in the text book. -Teacher gets pupils to identify simple present tense in the passage. -Teacher write their response on the blackboard.

-Pupils read the sentences aloud and identify the simple present tense in each sentences.

Production. ( 20 minutes)

Activity Fill In the blanks.

-Teacher gives worksheet to pupils and ask them to fill in the blanks with correct words. -Teacher facilitate the discussion of the task.

-Pupils exchange worksheet their worksheet with the friends after they complete the task.

Level 2 Write words and phrases in clear and legible cursive writing.

Closure ( 5 minutes )

Moral values: We should keep our body clean so that we can stay healthy.

-Teacher talks about the importance of the cleanness in everyday life. Teacher asks students to conclude how they can ensure themselves clean.

-Students give conclusion on how to make themselves clean.
