Gallup Education Conference:

Aiming at Career and Life Wellbeing

Education has lost its way by aiming at the wrong outcomes because degrees will not matter if students fail to achieve success and wellbeing in their lives and careers. Grades, graduation rates, and gainful employment are inadequate in proving the value of an education. At best, they are intermediate measures on the way to a more important and ultimate outcome: career and life wellbeing. Decades of Gallup research measuring workplace engagement and wellbeing worldwide point toward a better direction for education. Everything changes if we aim at the more profound outcome of higher career and life wellbeing for our students and graduates.

Agenda and Speakers Join us July 18-19, 2013, for the Gallup Education Conference. Gallup is bringing together the best minds from K-12 and higher education to identify the ultimate outcomes for education. Our confirmed speakers so far include Tony Wagner, Ed.D., the first Innovation Education Fellow at the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard and renowned speaker on education reform; Andy Chan, Vice President for Personal and Career Development at Wake Forest University and an innovative leader in higher education; Kenneth M.
