The number two is significant, as it applies to the number of crewmembers as well as the second flight for the Columbia and the second in a series of space shuttle orbital flight test missions.The NASA insignia design for space shuttle flights is reserved for use by the astronauts and for other official use asthe NASA Administrator may authorize. Public availability has been approved only in the form of illustrations bythe various news media.
