Community Liaison and Training Officer Based: Rahim yar Khan Contract Period: September 2013 till February 2014
Main Responsibilities / Duties To plan and organize public health awareness activities at the BHUs & in the communities according to the standardized WHO/ UNICEF/ MoH curricula. To establish village health committee in selected areas. To Conduct Health seminars. To work closely with the Project Manager RYK To conduct regular meetings and trainings for LHWs. To Facilitate the EPI Immunization campaigns. To insure community support and involvement in the project; participate in selection of community liaison volunteers, sensitize communities for Malteser International health and other project activities. To Prepare and submit of daily/weekly/monthly reports to Project Manager To monitor Malteser International activities and follow-up from communities. To work closely and cooperate with the medical staff and government departments, when required. To conduct necessary assessments and surveys in coordination with Project manager To perform any other duties related to community involvement or interests. Core qualifications: Graduate in social sciences. Working experience in education and health, preferably 3 years working experience with INGO in rural areas. Good team member. Willingness to work in the field with local communities. Strong communication skills.
