House of Ruth: In memory of our late pastor Fr. Joe Vest, a collection will be taken up this weekend to support the work of House of Ruth, helping women, children and families end homelessness and life-long abuse. Use your stewardship envelope, or place your contribution in an envelope marked for House of Ruth your help is appreciated. Religious Education for Children: Our classroom sessions resume as scheduled on Sunday, October 20th, from 9:4511:15. All are welcome to attend our All Saints/All Souls Family Session next Sunday, October 27th. All children must be accompanied by an adult since its a time for families to share. Sacrament Celebrated: Our best wishes and blessings to Barbara Yates and John Shirley, who were married here at All Saints on Saturday, October 12th. May God richly bless them and their marriage. The Parish Youth Group thanks those of you who supported their fundraising efforts by attending Jammin in Jamaica last Sunday. They were able to raise over $400 for our poor neighbors in the Jamaican and Haitian missions. K of C Monthly Chicken Dinner will be Sunday, October 20th, in the Parish Hall from 12:30-2 PM. A delicious meal of broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, butter noodles, a beverage and dessert at a price of $8.00 for adults, $4.00 for children ages 4-12, and children age 3 and under eat for free. Proceeds go to fund their charitable work. Liturgical Ministries: If you are interested in serving as a Hospitality Minister (usher) please contact Darren Esterle at 502/477-1858. Connie Eisenback is recruiting volunteers to assist with decorating the Church for the upcoming seasons of Advent and Christmas please contact her at 502-821-2887. Guys for God: The Vocation Office invites high school-aged men to join them on a discernment retreat November 1-3 at St. Meinrad. Where is God calling you? Our Parish Target is $8,000, and we ask each of you to pray about your gift to the 2013 Catholic Services Appeal. All Saints Day Celebration: Please join us for the Holy Day Mass on our Feast Day, November 1st, at 7 PM, at which Archbishop Joseph Kurtz will be the celebrant. AA will meet at 7:30 PM each Tuesday in the Parish Hall. An open discussion format is used.
