Happy Birthday: 9/22 Charles Forg, Joseph Rock; 9/28 Tom Fowler, Leslie Zoeller; 9/29 Patti Grubb Parish Renewal at SFX: Fr. Dale and the members of our sister parish invite you to participate in a Parish Renewal, rd th from September 23 -26 , led by Fr. Frank Sutman, O.P., who will be the celebrant and homilist at our Sunday liturgy. A detailed schedule is in the monthly newsletter and posted on the bulletin boards. Pray First and Meet New People: Praying with others and reading the Bible together brings us closer to God and to each other. We form and deepen new relationships. Our parish is participating in Why Catholic? and small Christian communities will be formed for faith sharing where members will recall moments of grace when God touched our lives, challenged us, or spoke to us. This process brings us closer together and strengthens our community. Why Catholic? begins the week of October 8. If you have not participated before and are interested in joining a group, you can register by calling or emailing Deacon Carl. The Tuesday evening and Friday morning faith-sharing groups, which meet at church for 90 minutes, have room for more participants. The faith sharing book costs $10, but a couple could share one book. Please register soon so we can order the books. If you're returning from last year's sessions and have already contacted your group leader, there's no need to register again. Thank you! Pray first and be open to Gods invitation. Adult Faith Formation: The final two weeks of Walking Toward Eternity will be on Thursday evenings only, at 6:30.
