Tagum City Musikahan Festival 2014 Tagum City: A Home of Music & Celebration Kasikas sa Tagum Drum-Bugle-Lyre Corps Competition
OFFICIAL GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS: 1. Kasikas sa Tagum is a drum- bugle - lyre competition cum performance open only to all elementary public and private drum- bugle-lyre groups. 2. The group shall compose of the following participants:

2.1. 50 - 80 members to compose the instrumentalists/musical players 2.2. 30 - 40 members to compose the majorettes/flag bearers/movers

3. The time allotment given to each entry for presentation shall be a minimum of ten (10) minutes and a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes to include the entrance and the exit. Time starts once the musical accompaniment or the first choreography movement is done. Two (2) points shall be deducted from each judge score sheet for every minute that excess. 4. Costumes of the participants must be modest and decent in form. 5. The official criteria for judging set on this competition are the following: Musical Quality Choreography Mastery & Coordination Skills Sequence & Flow Fancy Drill Deportment Costume / Props Total 40% 10% 10% 10% 30% 15% 5% 10% 100%

6. A set of judges shall be assigned and organized in each of the competition. Members of the Board of Judges are well known for their achievement and stature in the field of music and performing arts preferably coming from the National Level. Their decision based on the result of the competition shall be final and irrevocable. 7. Cash Prizes at stake To Be Announced 8. The competition date shall be on MARCH 5, 2014 at 1 PM 5 PM at the NCCC Mall of Tagum. 9. Deadline for the submission of entries shall be on January 31, 2014.
