While taking his father-in-law to the airport in I.uxembourg, Alva Phillips, missionary in the Black Forest, turned his car over. Of

Two days later we took them back in our car. In the very same town
of the accident we noticed a miss

ing in our motor. Unable to locate

the trouble and not able to do otherwise, we returned to Frank furt by 3:00 A.M. After a few

hours sleep we discovered that the car was ailing from a broken ring and scored cylinder wall. That simply meant a new motor. Since we were going to se:I the car in August we sought one we
could take to the U.S. We were

Christian Service Camp

The European Christian service camp and Retreat will be dune 29 -

July 9. Many people in the military in Europe will be going as well

as missionaries and Europeans.

T will be teaching a class during this time on the Relationship of Family Life. Please help make this camp known. Me will be happy to to send posters concerning necessary information to anyone who will possibly be going. CONTACT your boys over here and encourage tliem to

Tills is our almost annual Sweetheart Banquet. We met together for

one of those fine German dinners followed bi^an interesting talk
