    Knudson, Leahy, Loh, Morgan, Nicklaus, Riley B., Riley D., Senger, Sherony, ,Smith, Vogt

    Members excused: Jorstad, Sleznikow ,Taylor


    Members absent: O’Neill
    Consultants present: Agarwal, Valine
    Guests: Abler, Arens, Hoar, B., Evans, Gow, Keifer, May, Tillman, Wilson, C.

    M/S/P minutes from the February 10, 2010 meeting with corrections (inserted “Academic” in front of
    “initiative” and changed “most” to “many” (“New Cowley Building – Many of the students coming to
    UWL are entering the College of Science and Health . . .”)

    Old Business
    Chancellor Joe Gow reported on the Educational Attainment initiative and shared a PPT presentation
    that was used with the UW System Board of Regents. UW-L is putting together a plan for requesting
    additional resources to increase retention and graduation rates as part of the Educational Attainment
    initiative. Provost Kathleen Enz Finken went over parts of the plan.

    A question/answer session with the Chancellor and Provost followed.

    New Business
    Vice Chancellor Bob Hetzel and Assistant Vice Chancellor John Tillman went over the Student
    Technology Fee Budget. Hetzel also provided a recap of fiscal year 09-10 and an overview of the 10-11
    Redbook budget
