Our week at Santa

Susanna’s English
Camp
22nd to 26th of March
3r ESO
First day: trip, arrival
and horse riding
 We arrived at the camping Santa Susanna and
we had lunch. After lunch we took the bus to
go to the mountain and we went horse riding, it
was the best experience! We had fun. Then we
returned to the camping site and we had a
shower and we had dinner, we ate fish and
pasta salad. We went to the bungalow to put
on make-up; after that we went to the ”disco”.
Finally we went to the bungalow to chat and
sleep.

Second day:
Adventure: climbing,
zip wire etc..
In the morning:
 When we finished having breakfast we went to
the adventure camp. We started doing archery
and riffle shooting, next we went to do ropes,
zip wire and finally we did climbing. When we
finished climbing we went back to our camp
and we had lunch. Then we went to the
bungalow to do what we wanted, for example:
Playing ping-pong, chatting, etc…

 At half past three we met Kevin and Elisabeth and we

went to the camping site to play competitive games in
groups. We played hangman, wordsearch and
pictionary. The teachers were wearing wigs. The
pictionary activity was the funniest. Later we went to
the bungalows and had a shower. Then we had dinner
and we ate pork and chips. After eating we went to the
beach but we came back because it was cold. After the
whole day we went to the bed and we slept very well.

Third day: singing,
dancing and games
In the morning
 We got up at nine o’clock and we had
breakfast. After that, we sang and danced with
Elisabeth and Kevin. At twenty minutes to two
we had lunch and we ate macaroni. Nuria
D.L.T. loved them. Irene took a nap, and
Nuria, Nadia and Amanda too.

 In the afternoon
 We had to meet Kevin and Elisabeth at half past three,
but we were late because we were sleeping.
 First, the plan was to go to the beach, but it was too
cold, so we changed the plan and we did a project
about an imaginary town.
 The next activity was a treasure hunt, it was difficult to
find the clues.
 Later, we went to the bungalows area and we did some
juggling. The balls were made of balloons and bird
food.
 After the activities, we returned to the bungalows and
waited for the teachers because they were having tea
and chatting.

Fourth day: shopping
activity at Malgrat de
Mar
In the morning
 We got up at nine o’clock, but Nacho, Miriam and Irene
didn’t come to have breakfast because they fell asleep.
At ten o’clock we met Kevin and Elisabeth to go to
Malgrat de Mar. There we went shopping, we bought in
a clothes shop and in a souvenirs shop. Everyone
bought presents for their family. After that, we had a
snack and sandwiches. Later we returned to the
camping to have lunch, the Catalan paella was horrible
so we didn’t eat much.

 In the afternoon:
 After lunch some of us had a nap and the others went to the
beach. Then at half past three we met the monitors to play
games.
 The first activity called Tarzan was fun, we jumped with
ropes. In the second activity we had to cross a net through
some holes.
 The third activity was about climbing a mountain made of
boxes. In the next activity we had to make a bridge with
three sticks on the tyres.
 And the last activity was very short. It was similar to skiing.
The activity with the boxes was the best. After the activities
Sandra, Ana and Cristina went swimming at the beach, they
are crazy! The rest went shopping again.

Fifth day: water
activities and journey
back home.
 They had a great time at the beach playing
games with Elisabeth and Kevin. Then, they
went back to pack their suitcases and had
lunch quickly. We got our train at two thirty and
didn’t get to Carlet till about ten at night.
Everyone was tired but happy after the whole
week. We really enjoyed the week with them
and we’d repeat the experience next year.
