TRAVEL EXPERIENCES: TALK ABOUT MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCES AND
ADVENTURES
Cleona & Injie: Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.
Cleona: Hello everyone, welcome to Mtsb podcast!
Cleona & Injie: Kite Ni Cakep!
Indhira: We're excited to have you join us today as we share inspiring stories about our travel
experiences. You may go first, Cleona.
Cleona: One of my memorable travel experiences was when I visit Mangunan Pine Forest about three
months ago.
Indhira: Can you tell me about the cost?
Cleona: Sure, the admission fee was quite reasonable. It was just 20,000 Rupiahs per person.
Indhira: That's affordable! Did you stay overnight in the forest?
Cleona: Yes, I did. I booked a camping tent, and what's convenient is that they had it all set up for me
when I arrived.
Indhira: That does sound convenient.
Cleona: Absolutely! The employees are local residents, and I was happy to find out that the owners
are from nearby villages as well as the department of tourism of Yogyakarta. It's a great way to
support the local community by providing jobs.
Indhira: That's fantastic. Now, regarding the activities, what did you do during your stay at Mangunan
Pine Forest?
Cleona: I had an exciting visit. I watched the sunrise from the highest peak in the forest, which was a
mesmerizing experience. Then, I spent a lot of time taking beautiful photographs of the stunning
views. I also did a morning walk to explore the area, had a barbecue, and had a thrilling ATV ride
along a charming river, nearby villages, and a Cliff. Plus, I couldn't resist trying some local foods.
Indhira: Wow, it sounds like you did it all! Lastly, who did you go with on this adventure?
Cleona: I had the pleasure of going with my family. It was a family trip, so it was me, my mom, dad,
and little brother. We all had an unforgettable time together. Well, that's my travel experience. So, how
about you Indhira? Can you please tell me about your travel experience?
Indhira: Okay so, last week, I went to Pine Forest with my family to camp. It was such an amazing
experience because it was my first time camping with my family in the pine forest. It was located in
Batu, Malang near with museum angkut and the first Jatim Park.
Cleona: Ouh, a pine forest! So, what did you do when you arrived there? And what could you do
there?
Indhira: When we arrived, we built a tent and prepared all the stuffs.
Actually, there were many things that you can do there! They provided fireplace, atv, and there were a
cafe and also live music. The live music started from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m., so it didn't disturb the people
around there. We also had a barbeque party and told some stories.
Cleona: Oh wow! How about the temperature? It must be really cold right?
Indhira: You're right. It was really cold, when I talked to my parents or my brother, I saw a smoke
came from my mouth because it was too cold.
Cleona: It seems like you enjoyed it so much.
Indhira: Yes, I was happy, and I would like to repeat it again!
Cleona: Thank you for joining us on our school podcast today. We hope you find our episode
enjoyable and informative. Remember to stay curious and keep learning, because education opens
doors to your future.
Indhira: That's all that we can share for now. Until next time, take care and stay inspired!
