Cub Cheers: Way to go to Mrs. Pisanos Students theyve did our Friday Morning Announcements and were awesome!
Congratulations to the following students for receiving Cox Cub of the Week: Alissa Perkins, Marcus Bernard, David Flood,
Bella Franze, Brooklyn Pulido, Jaxson Haycock, Cordelia Pellegrino, Eli King, Ethen Sanasay, Joshua Matallana,
Romina Araoz, Rashaan Chavis, and Malaya Villalovos. Congratulations to the following staff members who received Cox
Staff of the Week: Mrs. Husney and Mrs. Sowell.

Albertsons Donation: Our school


(along with Nate Mack and Del Sol) was awarded $5,000.00 last week during their grand re-opening celebration of the store
on Eastern and Warm Springs! We are very grateful for this donation as it will help us with technology replacement! We have
6 classroom projectors which are beyond repair and need replacing; each one is $400.00 and this donation pays for that!
Thank you Albertsons for helping!
Yearbook News: A yearbook tab has been added to our school website! Within that tab are order forms, flyer for the contest,

Yearbook Art Contest: Theres still time to get your design in for our yearbook cover! Entries are coming into the front
office and the deadline for all art work is Friday, January 27 th!
Milers News: Congratulations to the January Milers winners: Nathan Ewing, Jake Hanson, Roman Pandullo,
Brandon Pham, Mary Glasser, Amy Sisavanh, and Connor Truman. Our parent winner is Lydia Rusas! A big Way to Go
goes out to our 100 mile finishers: Cooper Martin, Justin Strickland, and Aidan Loorz!
Cub Leadership and Cub Honor Roll: Students, dont forget that all applications for the Cub Honor Club and Cub
Leadership must be turned in by Friday, January 20th to the front office.
Guitar Class and Sports Camp Sign-ups: Make sure you get your registration forms into Mrs. Papanek for Guitar and Mr.
Hale for basketball camp! The next sessions start in a couple weeks and classes fill up fast!
Semester Ends Friday: Students and Families, all grading ends Friday, January 20th. Grades will be uploaded that evening
and Infinite Campus will post entered scores. Although our gradebook is continuous from first semester to second, late
work turned in cannot be accepted after Friday. Infinite Campus does not allow for us to go back into a closed semester and
enter grades. Dont forget to refresh your Infinite Campus phone app to get the most updated scores. The phone apps
do not automatically refresh and the data youre seeing could be old.

the second semester begins the grading weights
in the gradebook change. Its important to keep
up your best work throughout the entire year.
The first semester is ALWAYS continuous in
scoring with the second semester, it DOES NOT,
start over like in secondary school.
