Engg.).

• Working with NSN Pvt Ltd as RF Engineer for Aircel ( Haryana ) for GSM
1800.

• Experience in GSM Networks Drive Test for IDEA at NSN Pvt Ltd.pay

 Key Responsibilities Undertaken :

• Leading SCFT activities , database planning.

• Checking of Handovers and Call Set Up performances.

• Removal of problems like handover failure , call drops, blocked calls

• Data Drive ( GPRS , EDGE , FTP).

• Cluster drive test and cluster data drive.

• Data Analyzing & reports preparation.

• Responsible for the establishment of the project KPI metrics and process
with the customer.

• Coordinating the team for day to day plan for SCFTs.

RF Drive Test ( 3G / WCDMA ):

• 3G/WCDMA drive test.

• Analysing WCDMA Drive test.

• Analysing to all types of Handovers( Soft , softer , hard.)

• Analyzing to parameters threshold RSCP , Ec/Io , SC.

• Analyzing audio and video calls.

• Analyzing to reduce coverage holes in the networks .

• Able to reduce pilot pollution.

RF Optimzation ( GSM ) :
• Parameter planning which include Frequency Planning, Neighbour Planning,
MAIO Offset, MAIO Step.
• Conducting Single Cell Functionality Test (SCFT)
• Preparation of data reports and data analysing.
• Monitor Statistics & Parameters, Locate the poor performing cells and provide the solution to
improve the network performance.
• Analysis the TCH Assignment, Handover Failure, TCH Drop, SD Drop KPI’s & find out the
poor performing Cells & improve the cells.
• Analysis of call drop on day to day basis and resolving the problems of cells
having high drops by changing frequencies, replacing of faulty TRUs, getting
hardware checked and corrected.
• Network optimization by drive tests, antenna tilts, antenna orientation
changes and tuning the cell RF parameters
• Extensive routine drive test to look for patches with bad quality and poor
 coverage and subsequent proposal of new site.
• Frequency Scanning & Drive tests of GSM Air interface for New Site, Site swapping, Site
Migration and for any up gradations using TEMS Investigation 6.0
• Analysis and Post processing of RF drive test log Files on tools like MapInfo. To determine
Network problems like Poor Coverage Patches, Interference Issues, Quality Issues, call
drops, hand over Issues.
• Responsible for proper coverage and speed of EDGE & GPRS.
