Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Mayor Knoll at 6:40 p.m.

Agenda
89.2011 Greve: That the agenda for the March 21, 2011 meeting be accepted as amended.
CARRIED.

Minutes
90.2011 Reimer: That the minutes of the March 7, 2011 regular meeting be adopted.
CARRIED.

February Payroll
91.2011 Corbett: That the payroll for February in the amount of $26,407.89 be accepted.
CARRIED.

February Bank Reconciliation and Financial Statement

92.2011 Janzen: That Council accept the February bank reconciliation and financial
statement as presented.
CARRIED.

March List of Accounts

93.2011 Greve: That the March accounts, cheque numbers 11624 to 11722, in the amount
of $146,698.85, be approved.
CARRIED.

Emergency Flood Damage Reduction Program

94.2011 Reimer: That Council proceed with the recommendations of Don Poon of SAL
Engineering to install two extra culverts in the railway bed under the Province’s
Emergency Flood Damage Reduction Program, with the total project estimated at
approximately $400,000, with the Town responsible for 25% of the costs and
Sask Watershed, 75%.

96.2011 Reimer: That the following committee reports be accepted as presented:

Ladies’ Night Out Committee

97.2011 Greve: That Council donate a season family swim pass to the 2011 Ladies’ Night
Out fundraiser.
CARRIED.

Job Description – Recreation & Community Development Manager

98.2011 Helmuth: That Council approve the proposed job description for the Recreation &
Community Development Manager and amend the administration bylaw to
include the same.
CARRIED.

Rosthern Hospital Foundation – Donation

99.2011 Greve: That Council donate $200 toward the Rosthern Hospital Foundation’s
2011 Charity Golf Tournament being held on June 4, 2011.
CARRIED.

Renew Municipal Bond

100.2011 Corbett: That Council renew the municipal bond coverage of $15,000 per
employee through SUMA for the four office staff at a cost of $468.20.
CARRIED.

Communities in Bloom Membership

101.2011 Greve: That the Town enter in the non-competitive category with Communities in
Bloom at a cost of $125.00.
CARRIED.

Tourism Conference
102.2011 Reimer: That Don Greve be authorized to attend the tourism conference on April
20, with associated expenses being paid by the municipality.
CARRIED.
