How does your media product represent particular social groups ?

I have got a picture of my artsist from the fornt cover of my magazine , if I was going to say who I was trying to
show her to be slightly like it would be taylor swift. I think this is firstly clear because of the picture I have of her
which is using the same pose as I tried to portray in my model. I think it gives a happy and also girly look. From
looking at this picture of Taylor Swift to improve my magazine I would have try to make it brighter.

I think in my magazine it was clear it is also the same style of music and style as her because in the article it states
how Summer’s influence for music is from experiances and emotions which is the same as the artist ‘Taylor Swift’
and therfore shows the same style of music and would appeal to same type of people in their social groups. I
think from the clothing in both of the magazines the social group that these too magazines appeal too would be a
middle class because they have simple but nice clothes on that would look affordable.

However, in the examples I have here of the front covers of magazines I think that they differ slightly particularly with
just this cover for Taylor Swift because I think we have different aged target audiences here , I think that this one is
probably aged more 13 – 18 whereas mine is aimed at 16 plus. I think I managed to keep my magazine looking a bit
more mature because of the pastel colours rather than the pinks and also because of the font , the one that I used for
the masthead is quite mature but still simple and looks nice however comparing it to this one , this seems more girly
and aimed at a younger audience. It is still clear they are both aimed at girls.
