1.Introduction
This project is aimed at developing an Online Attendance Management System for a School or a College. The System is an Internet based application that can be accessed throughout the World and can be accessed by any registered student .

Purpose

The specification document describes

application Cinema Hall Ticket Reservation System . The intended users for this document are the staff administrator i.e. the development team and the customer i.e. the end user.

1.2

Scope

The main purpose of our online ticket booking system is to provide another way for the customer to buy cinema ticket. It is an automatic system. The software product maintains all the record of the current movie release , cost of ticket for different classes , different cinemas under different regions and cities , time and date schedules and also the seat allotted to customers as per their wish. The brief information about the movies ; that includes the director of the movie, the cast of the movie , the storyline and the music composers and singers of the movies shall be delivered on site for the customers to make a choice for the film they wish to see. The facility of net banking/credit card is provided to the customers for payment on ticket purchase.

2.The Overall Description

Our online Attendence System is a web-based system. This system deals with the complete attendance management. It assit the students to easily check their attendance and the fine issued upon them.The faculties can easily maintain the attendance of each and every student without any manual computation .

Product Prospective

The software is an independent software product. It contains all the basic requirements needed to maintain an attendance system.

2.2

Product Function

Since the staff and the student are the main target group of our software, we will only concern about some important function for the staff and the student.

2.2.1 STUDENT
The main page of our project consist of the login window and a link for students to register themselves. It even contains the menu options of the site along with the description of the website.

-Viewing Attendence
The student can view the status of his/her attendance . 1. The student logs in the site if he/she is registered. 2. She now switches over the home page 3. There are the available options for the student to view the status of her attendance.

- Viewing Fine Details

The student can view the fine she has to pay. 1. The student logs in the site if he/she is registered.

2.2.2 FACULTY

Before the faculty to perform any operation, he/she must login to the system first. Once the faculty login to the system, the statistic information will be shown. And the can choose function by clicking the button on left hand side. The functions are: 1. Add student s data. 2. Update student s data. 3. Fine computation of student. The function Obtain the statistic information just like reading data from database, we will not describe here.

- Add/update student s data

The faculty can add the attendence of the day of the students. Since the webpage is dynamic generated according to the data in database, the data in the database will be updated frequently.The process of adding the attendence of the day: 1. Login to the system 2. Select the add data option 3. Insert data or update it.

- Fine computation
After the attendence updation the fine computation is automaticallyperformed

Here we implement the client and the server on the same system using local host (WAMP server).

User Interface

3.1.1 Home Page:

This page consists of the movies in cinemas. This page includes the login window. This window would contain: 1.User ID 2.Password 3.If the user is new he can create his id else if he is a permanent member then can login easily.

3.1.2 Register Page

New users can create their new account through their register page.

3.1.3 Linked pages

The students can view the details of their attendance .A pie chart representation is also there.The faculty can update the attendance.The students and faculty can also post articles and comments on the blog page.
