    We had fun in class when we learned about the color green, graphed our eye colors, learned about the color blue, made a special blue snack, learned about the color yellow, painted lemon prints with yellow paint, had a special visitor talk to us about clothing (colors, patterns), Dr. Minears Methods for Teaching Language class visited and we learned about the Indian culture and tried on saris, learned about the color red, and graphed our favorite color.
    Song of the week:

    Next week we will begin picking up speed. We will start learning a letter, a color, a number, and a shape each week. Monday- closed for Labor Day. Reopen Tuesday @ 7:30 am. Wednesday is Science @ 10:05 am. Thursday is Music @ 10:05 am and Pizza Day. Friday is Gymnastics 9:00 am, for those who signed up. Its not too late to sign up! See Mrs. Annie! Please take home naptime blankets and pillows on Friday to wash and return nice and clean on Monday. Saturday Tarleton St v UWA 6:00 pm Tiger Stadium. Dont forget to send in your Box Tops for Education and Campbells Labels for Education!

    Nursery rhyme of the week...


    Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet eating her curds and whey. Along came a spider and sat down beside her and frightened Miss Muffet away!
