News

Religion: We are continuing to read about families
in our Family Life book. We talked about the Holy
Family. We also talked about taking care of our
bodies and staying healthy.

Reading: We read a story in our reading text. We
practiced reading orally using lots of expression.
We drew pictures about the beginning, middle, and
end of the story. We completed a chart writing
sentences about our pictures.

Social Studies: We are reading about our country
and its history. This week, we started reading
about Native Americans.

Science: We completed 5 small group projects and
the display boards. Each group presented their
project to the class. You can see our work at the
Art Zone Show on Sunday.

Math: We are naming coins and their values. We
are sorting groups of coins and finding the amount
of money in a group of coins.

Our caterpillars are in the chrysalis stage! We are
learning about the life cycle of butterflies. We
compared butterflies and moths.

Flat Stanley visited a
Kindergarten class in
California. Our map
is filling up. He has
visited 6 places
already!
