Classroom notes:
Welcome Back! We jumped right back in with a week packed full of fun and learning. We have introduced a new theme called Lets Move. We have had fun exploring the different ways our bodies can move. We have also turned our room into a workout gym. There are trainers and gym members. We are still working on different excercises but the kids are really excited about it. Some of the things we focused on this week were rhyming, measuring, sorting, retelling stories and remembering details. This week we also discussed problem solving. We are working on naming the problem and thinking of solutions in play scenarios.

Items of the Week:

This week we reviewed letters by playing match the sound, and ABC relay. We also reviewed our four core shapes Circle, Square, Rectangle, and Triangle by playing the shape song.

Religion:
This week we continued our Lenten learning. We began by singing our Lenten Song. Then we had some puppet friends who came and told us about preaching the gospel. Every time we do nice things for others or talk about God or Jesus we are preaching the Gospel. The students are trying to be Secret Agents of God and show others about Jesus in their words and actions.
