Classroom notes:
Thank you for the amazing outpouring of love this Teacher
Appreciation Week. I certainly feel appreciated!
This week was a very exciting one in the classroom. We
finished up our Mothers Day gifts (moms look in your
childs Thursday Folder), our caterpillars went into their
cocoons, and we made some amazing flower pictures to
celebrate the arrival of warmer weather.
The students started off the week with excellent behavior,
and I am hoping we can keep this up until the end of the
year. I am encouraging them to show me they are ready for
Kindergarten. We have also begun introducing our last
theme; Ready for Kindergarten. The students will begin
taking on the roles of teachers and students during mature
play. This is a great time of year!

We are very excited because
there is only one letter left to
learn!

Religion:
This week we learned about how Jesus taught us
to help others. We heard the story of the good
Samaritan who helped the injured traveler when
the priest and Levite did not. It is important to help
others to show Gods love to all.
