Classroom notes:
Hopefully Monday was the last of our late start days. I miss the faces of my morning group when we do not meet. Even though we were shorted a day, and the afternoon group had two early dismissals we still managed to get things done. We worked on comparing sets of objects in trays. The students took turns rolling a die, and then filling their side of the tray with that many. After their partner did the same we had a conversation about the two groups. We also began to get ready for our big Civic Center field trips next week. Please note the slight adjustment to times on Monday and Tuesday as we try to return (AM) and depart (PM) quickly and efficiently. Your patience is appreciated. Thanks for all who came to conferences!

Items of the Week:

This week we reviewed letters by playing match the sound, and ABC relay. We practiced writing the number 8 which gave us some trouble.

Religion:
This week we heard the story of Jesus healing the two blind men. We talked about what it means to be blind, and how that would make our lives different. We also talked about how those two men felt after Jesus healed them. They were so happy they followed Jesus and told everyone what he had done!
