Children require guidance and sympathy for more than instruction. ~Annie Sullivan

Classroom notes:
This week we focused on the story of Pinocchio. The students had so much fun retelling the story using story props. On Friday we are going to the Playhouse to see the show in action. We had fun making shapes with playdough that I whipped up with some koolaid for some smelly fun. We also measured independently with cubes and made Valentine patterns with hearts to hang in our hallway come February. We also worked on cutting with scissors to make a centerpiece for one of the tables on Sunday for the Open House. Come visit me on Sunday from 8-1. Breakfast in the gym! Celebrate Catholic Schools!!

Items of the Week:

Letter: D: Dudley Duck Number: 7 Color: Brown Shape: Yellow

Religion:
This week we continued our theme of Jesus being a friend to all. This week Jesus was a friend to a Jewish Leader. Nicodemus visited Jesus at night and asked Jesus questions about God. Jesus gave Nicodemus his time and attention and answered all of his questions. In this way Jesus shares the Love of God with others. Our job is to also share Gods love with those we meet.
