Classroom notes:
This week we got rocking and rolling with our growing and changing unit. We began the week discussing ways that we know we are growing. The students thought of lots of things they do to help their bodies grow. We also celebrated Earth Day on Tuesday by planting flower seeds. We are hoping they will sprout and grow so that the students can take them home and plant them outside to continue to watch how they grow and change throughout the summer. We are still awaiting the arrival of our caterpillars, but have begun reading a few books to get us ready for the changes we will be observing.

Letter: Y: Yetta Yo-Yo Numbers: We continued to review 6-10

Religion:
This week we recapped the joy of Easter and celebrated Jesus rise from the day. We also learned about Jesus assention into Heaven. We celebrate the day that Jesus rose into Heaven body and soul. We also discussed how Jesus will return one day the way he left.
