Classroom notes:
This week it was nice to be back on a normal schedule
after the craziness of last week. The students are really
enjoying our ready for Kindergarten theme and some
sound just like us when they take on a teacher role.
We have been working hard on wrapping up any last
minute projects. Our butterflies have been happily
flying around their butterfly houses all week. On Friday
we will let them go in our flower garden and we hope
to see them around. Thursday we wrote a thank you
letter to Earl May for allowing us to visit and donating
the flowers.
This week we also worked on measuring each other
using yardsticks. This required the students to have a
basic concept of measuring and be able to count.

Items of the Week:
We have learned all our letter friends,
have a great handle on 1-10 along
with a beginning knowledge of 11-20
and know our 4 basic shapes. We are
ready for Kindergarten!

Religion:
This week we continued to practice our song for our
graduation show. We have been learning about how
Jesus wants us to act and what he has taught us by
showing Gods love.
The song is a great reflection of all of these things. We
cant wait until next Thursday!
