Whats going on this week?
Reading
Last week, we read some books
about mothers. This week, were
reading about fathers,
grandmothers, and grandfathers.

Writing
We have a spelling test this week
and these are our words:

5. picture 6. again
7. change 8. animal
9. point 10. mother
11. answer * found

Were going to be writing some raps
and writing some poems about dads
and grandparents.
Math
We have our final math test on
Wednesday! The students have been
doing an excellent job reviewing all
of the math content, so we should do
well!
Social Studies
We had our final social studies
test last week and everyone passed!
Well be using social studies time to
clean up and get ready for the end
of the school year this week.
Announcements
Field Day
Field Day was a great success.
Thanks to the parents who came out.
Sorry I wasnt too social. I was
pretty sick and ended up leaving
school early that day.

Missing Library/Reading Books
Please return any library books or
guided reading books that may have
made their ways to your homes.
Report cards will not be released if
your child has any books still out.

Last Day Luau
Well be celebrating the end of the
school year with a Summer Birthday
Party Luau. If you would please send
some snacks to contribute to the
party, it would be much
appreciated. If you want to join us
for our luau, well be starting
around 1:00 on Friday.

Final Farewells
As most of you know, I wont be
returning to Stroud next year. I am
moving to New York City in a few
months to teach up there. Its been
wonderful teaching your children.
Since they are my first class, I will
never forget them! Please keep my
