Declaration of Policy. - In accordance the intent and mandate of the Constitution and Republic Act No. 7166,entitled: "AnAct Providing for SynchronizedNational and Local Elections and for Electoral Reforms, Authorizing Appropriations Therefor, and for Other Purposes",it is hereby declaredthe policy ofthe State to synchronizenational and local elections. Pursuant thereto, the elections in the Autonomous Regionin Muslim Mind anao (AININI) is hereby synchronjzed with the national and local electioqsas hereinafberprovided. SEc. 2.
