What will my student learn this year?

Reading/Writing - We will be working on improving our writing in the 4 areas their papers will be graded on focus, organization, elaboration, and style. In reading we will focus on visualization and inference. Math In addition to reviewing and expanding on 3rd grade concepts, we will start division, adding and subtracting fractions, perimeter & area, graphs, and variables. Social Studies This year we will be studying Texas history and focusing on map skills. Science There are 4 units 4th graders study magnets & electricity, rocks & minerals, animals, and chemistry.

Supply List
These are items that we (the community) will need on the first day of school. The school supply pack and list have most of these items but some (*) arent listed and are needed.
