Dear Parents and Children
The sun shone as the whole school walked to St Thomas’s Church for Mass. Thechildren were excellent ambassadors and the Holy Spirit was definitely presentthrough the beautiful Pentecost Lanterns that each class prepared. The lovelyweather this week has reminded us that the children need water bottles and sun hatsin school, and sun cream to be applied at home. We are introducing from Monday anew cooling down period at the end of the lunch break. The children will rest in theshade and make sure that they have had a good drink and are cooled down, so thatwhen the children come in they are ready to start their afternoon’s learning. Therewill still be lots of running around time though! The children will be taking their waterbottles out with them so they are always able to stay refreshed. It really helps if youcan make sure all bottles are named. Water bottles are available from the schooloffice for 50p. We look forward to welcoming you to the Jubilee Picnic on Friday (seebelow for more details).Mrs. M Sanderson
Give us light and strength,And courage when our task is difficult.Let Your Spirit fill us with love and peace,So that we may help our children to love You.
