VirginiaDominionPowerasof1:45p.m.wasreporting32,777homeswithoutpower.The NorthernVirginiaElectricalCooperativewasreportingatleast3,463withoutpower. AccordingtoLoudounCountyswebsite,residentsdealingwithpoststormdebrisremovalare urgedtostayawayfromdownedwiresbecausetheymightstillhaveliveenergy.Thecountyalso suggestsresidentsrefrainfromusingcandlesduringpoweroutagesandtostickwithbattery power. Duetotheextremeheatexpectedtoday,powermaynotberestoredtoallresidentsimmediately, accordingtoLoudounCounty.
