PAWSitive Vibes
First of all, thank you for your recent attendance and support of our Parent-Teacher Conferences.
The EES Staff is thankful for, and inspired by, the support of our parents!
Starting on March 7th, the testing window for the PAWS (Proficiency Assessment for
Wyoming Students) will begin. During the next three weeks of March, the entire student body
at EES will be taking different subtests of the PAWS to show their skills in the areas of reading,
writing, and math (4th grade will be takng science assessments as well). We feel confident that
our students will excel in these tests; they have been working hard all year and the PAWS will
reflect those efforts. We ask that you have your child at school every day with a good breakfast
and plenty of rest. Most of our testing will take place during the morning and we need students
here and ready to go!
If a student misses days during the testing window, he or she is required to make up all missed
testing, so please let us know in advance of planned absences. Also, please prepare your child
with the fact that he or she will need to make up any testing missed.
We are very appreciative of your efforts and support of our school. Thank you for all you do!

In the show, talented dancers and actors breathe life into aluminum-tone industrial materials
to tell the story of a young machine determined to reunite with its parents. During its travels
through a futuristic world ruled by bizarre technology, it finds adventure, excitement and even a
human friend, who does whatever it takes to get it back home in one piece.
The Aluminum Show uses recovered materials from industrial factories that are re-used to build the set, dress the cast
and interact with the audience. As Industrial materials are given new and surprising contexts, then combined with visual
effects, lighting manipulations and enchanting music, all senses are on high alert. With sights and sounds that overcome
any language barrier, this is visual entertainment at its best
