Abstract Oil and gas production needs separation equipments in order to meet the requirements of pure fluids, the

design of such equipment is not optimal for processing of multiphase fluids as it has been shown in the past (Spence, 1991). Separators operating conditions will change as the production in the oil field changes; consequently, the amount of Oil, Gas and Water will change. Losses from crude oil can be reduced by minimising operating pressure of lowpressure separators, resulting in increased profits at a minimal cost of implementation and an immediate payback.
