Helping children be the best they can be Dear Parents, Governors and Children, OUR NEXT HOLIDAY SUMMER

R BREAK Our next holiday is the Summer Holiday. We break up at 3.30 p.m. on THURSDAY 19TH JULY and we return to school at 8.45 a.m. on TUESDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER. WELL DONE Well Done to Connie Wriglesworth for passing her Level 2 Starlite Tap and Ballet exams Well Done to Sophie Mitchell for passing her Juvenile Ballet exam and Freestyle solo exam with flying colours Well Done to Caitlin Mitchell for achieving Highly Commended in her Tap and Ballet Preparatory exams END OF TERM I would like to thank everyone who has put so much into the school this year. As I read through the end of year reports, I was impressed by how many children had moved forward in their learning and built their confidence. I hope everyone can have a good holiday and a rest, and come back refreshed and ready for the school year ahead in September. I am sure our Year 6 children and the others who leave today will go on to their new schools and make a real success of it. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday 4th September. Happy Holiday! EVENTS AT CHILDRENS CENTRE TRIPS - Please book the trips at the Childrens Centre, deposit is 3 per person per trip and this must be paid before you can book places. Full trip prices can be found at Childrens Centre reception. Wednesday 15th August Twycross Zoo, Monday 30th July Scarborough, Friday 31st August - Sundown Adventureland Family Fun Day Wednesday 22nd August. All these events, usual groups and much more. CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR NEWSLETTER We are encouraging the children to contribute to our weekly newsletter with stories, pictures and items of interest they have done in the classroom our outside school. The contribution this week is from Year 6 as they leave our school. Look out for more class contributions in the coming weeks

We thought you would enjoy seeing some pictures of this years Prom, seeing all our leavers in their finery. Everyone had a wonderful time, and the chocolate fountain was appreciated by all! The Harley motorbike was as impressive as always (thank you, Mr & Mrs Banks), and the stretch limousine more than lived up to expectations.
