Dt; 06.07-2012 & 16.07.2012, from the Contract Lecturers Association. --In continuation to this office Proceedings reference 5th cited, and after observation on the letters of the Associations reference 6th cited, the following additional Instructions issued. 1. Wherever Contract Lecturers are requesting for mutual transfer, such cases may be considered at the time of renewal it self without disturbing the functioning of the Colleges. 2. Wherever Wife and Husband are working as Contract Lecturers, due consideration should be given to accommodate them at one place to the extent possible. 3. As far as possible, only lady Lecturers should be posted in Womens Government Degree Colleges hereafter. Hence, while hiring Contract Lecturers for Womens Govt. Degree Colleges, only lady candidates should be posted. When no lady candidate with requisite qualification is available, then only a male candidate can be considered. 4. While taking the pass percentage only for 2011-12 with 40% and above in all papers in aggregate in concerned subjects may be taken in to consideration. 5. Selection Committee should take decision up to their extent, without the involvement of the Commissioner of Collegiate Education in the matter and of any other related issues in the renewal process apart from the issues discussed above and in previous Orders. 6. Request of the Contract Lecturer for a specific location of posting can be considered if it is administratively feasible. The RJDCEs concerned are directed to monitor for renewal of Contract Lecturers by including the additional instructions issued herein and report compliance.
