net 1st November 2005 Mr Enric Arcal Bares Enric worked at the Royal National as a Night Porter with us from the 2nd November 2004 to 29th July 2005. The Royal National Hotel is Europes largest hotel with over 3,500 beds, and I would say that the job of the Night Porters is best explained by saying that we take over the running of the hotel from 10pm until 7.30am in the morning. We are responsible for checking the guests in on arrival, taking cash, and helping them with enquiries and problems throughout the night. Enric was punctual, conscientious, and interested in learning as much as possible, and because I felt very confident in his ability, I gave him Cashier and Reception duties for most of the time he was with us. He proved his honesty by handling quite large sums of money on the Reception without any problems, and I relied on his judgement when problems arose. Enric has a very pleasant and friendly outlook on life, and was a very popular member of our team.
