    ACT 3 Blas comes home very flustered and happy. The rest of the family was asleep.

    Dodong sits up while Blas lies down. Dodong: (whisper)Blas Blas: Tay, I cant sleep. Dodong: You better go to sleep. Its late. Dodong begins to lie down again Blas: Itay Dodong stops Blas: I am going to marry Tona. She accepted me tonight Dodong thinks Blas: Itay, think it over. I love Tona, and I I want her. Dodong stands up and walks away. Blas follows. Dodong: So you want to marry Tona? Dodong voice over: Blas, not yet. Blas: Yes Itay. Dodong: Must you marry, Blas? Blas with a little bit of resentment: I WILL marry Tona. Dodong stays silent Blas with acid: You have any objections, Itay? Dodong: Son, n-none. Dodong voice over: God, not yet. I dont want Blas to marry yet. Voice over: But Dodong had no choice. Youth and Love must triumph now. Life will catch up later. Just as it did for Dodong.
