Steps to connect to network printers in Science Library

Windows 7 & Vista Users


Click > Start Win XP : Select Run Win Vista : Enter command in the 'Start Search' bar of the start menu All Win OS : Windows Key + R Type \\csnus-svr > Click OK or press Enter At the next prompt, enter your NUSNET username (E.g. nusstu\username) and password Choose to print from any of the following printers: cslibp1 or cslibp2 : A4, Double side (Default*), B&W cslib_colour : A4, Single side, Colour For users using 64 bit laptops, please select: NUS-Lib-Wireless-BW : A4, Double side (Default*), B&W NUS-Lib-Wireless-Color : A4, Single side, Colour Double click to select the printer Collect your printout from the following Print Release Stations: cslibp1, cslibp2, NUS-Lib-Wireless-BW : Print Release Stations located on either level 4 or 6 cslib_colour, NUS-Lib-Wireless-Color : Print Release Station located on level 4 For A3 printing or further assistance, please approach the Service Provider located in the Photocopy Room on Level 5.

*Remarks: To ensure the settings are correct, please make the following selections: For double/single sided printing, Print > Properties > Finishing tab > Select/Deselect Print on both sides To print multiple pages per sheet, Properties > Effects tab > Deselect Print Document on > Finishing tab > Enter the number of pages to print per sheet Click OK when done

MAC Users
Please login to NUSNET before you do the following: Go to Settings and Preferences > Print & Fax Click on the + sign on the left > IP Printer Enter the following when the Add Printer screen appears: Protocol : Line Printer Daemon LPD Address : 172.18.37.251 Queue : CSLIBP2 Name : BW-A4 Location : NUSLIB Print using : Choose (Generic PostScript printer) Click Add and select Duplex Printing Unit when presented with Installation Options After sending your print job, proceed to the Print Release Station to collect your printout by entering your Name or Computer Name (Not your matriculation number).

For further assistance, please approach the Service Provider located in the Photocopy Room on Level 5.
