Meet our Student TeacherMs. Erin English
Dear Parents and Families, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the student teacher in your childs classroom this semester. My name is Erin English, and I have spent the past four years studying Elementary Education at Missouri State University. I will be spending 12 weeks of this semester in Mrs. Dicks classroom and 4 weeks rotating in other classrooms within the Nixa School District. In the past few days I have started to get to know the students and have really enjoyed working with them. I am very excited for the opportunity to work with the Nixa community. I look forward to getting to know both your child and family in the coming months. Working together, Erin English

Principals Advisory Committee (PAC)

On Tuesday, Mrs. Sutherland will be holding her first PAC meeting. She will be discussing the new lunch choice procedures and the healthy food guidelines. These meetings are very informational, and Mrs. Sutherland also appreciates parent input at the meeting.

September 3 No School

Correcting Assessments
At this time, your child is welcome to make corrections to assignments for credit. If your child is making As on assessments without making corrections, I would expect him/her to score Advanced on the state achievement test. I collected our first reading and math check-up today. I will grade them this weekend and return them to students on Monday.
