GREETINGS Its indeed a thrilling experience to recapitulate the marvelous growth of the church of the resurrection. The church was torched and brought to ashes and was rebuilt to its present glory during my tenure as pastor in that church. I was a witness to the resurrection. It was originally called St Pauls church and as our beloved bishop suggested the new church was christened as the church of resurrection fittingly. We really need to place on record the unquenchable zeal and enthusiasm evinced by the members of the congregation. They left no stone unturned to build a spacious sanctuary with foresight which now is thronged by people. All the pastors who labored in the church along with the leaders of the congregation added sheen and shine to ministry service and witness in the journey of faith. I give God the glory for the leaders of Emmanuel church Thangam colony who shared the vision of planting a church in Mugappair west and laboring hard to bring it to fruition. It was the result of pioneering evangelistic endeavor of Emmanuel church. Today as we stand at the threshold of yet another year crossing one more milestone in our service and witness let us rededicate ourselves and resolve to extend our selfless service and witness to the community. To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only god our savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our lord, before all ages now and for evermore!
