The petitioner seeks writ of habeas corpus for release of detenues mentioned in para 2 of the petition, who as per the allegations are detained in brick kiln of respondent Nos.4 & 5. The petitioner has a remedy to approach the Deputy Commissioner of District Sangrur. The petitioner may represent to the Deputy

Commissioner, who shall act in accordance with law and detail an officer of the rank of PCS to visit the brick kiln, record the statements, and ensure the release of detenues, in case, it is found that any of the alleged detenues is illegally detained at the brick kiln. Let this be done within one week from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of. January 02, 2012
