WHAT IF?

We all must have encountered this particular term in our lives at some point of time or the other. WHAT IFI had taken life more seriously right from the beginning, WHAT IFI hadnt taken this particular turn in my life, WHAT IFlife had given me another chance. And something as petty as WHAT IFI had studied the day before my exam instead of sleeping off. WHAT IFI have had the courage to ask that girl on a date.WHAT IF theres just no end to this particular epitaph. But you know what the truth is- no matter what social status, economic condition, geographical position you may belong to this feeling of yearning, dissatisfaction is kind of universal. we may have the world at our feet but we still want more. Also common is the feeling that we could have done something better with our lives ,could have lead our lives onto a different direction, could have lived a different much better lifeThis feeling can also be considered as a means of escapism from our current positions, to blame our prevalent moments of despair on our own selves or on some of the decisions that we must have taken instead of considering it to be completely circumstantial and accepting it as one of the many eccentricities of life. There are moments in life when we lose the will to fight in life. and during these times we go into the completely opposite direction that the world is running towards and block ourselves from the outside world. This is the stage of selfintrospection which, though, commonly associated with the old age can come at any point in our lives and even more than once. The point is whether we come out of these reflections for better or for worse. what we gain out of it isnt that the only matter of concern for us or for that matter anything that we do in life.
