Protein Intake Relationships to Nutritional Status of Toddler at the Public Health Center of Cikidang District, Sukabumi, in 2012. This study is aimed to determine whether there is a relationship of protein intake to nutritional status of toddler. The research was done by providing food recall questionnaire and food frequency questionnaire to find how toddler intakes food by giving questions to his mother. This study used observational research with a quantitative approach with cross-sectional design, as well as the sampling technique that simpled random sampling. The respondents totaled 93 infants, 52 males (55%) and 41 females (45%). This study uses Fisher's test. Based on the result, it obtains median value of distribution of the protein intake 160% (80% - 360%), the research did not obtain because the P value for all respondent had high protein intake. The relationship of the protein intake was not statistically significant, this could be due to improper food intake calculation, the less number of respondents, infectious disease in toddler and dishonesty of respondents in answering the questionnaire. The conclusion is that protein intake is not associated with nutritional status of toddler.
