Note : Before presenting any song or story it is important to set the tone and to prepare the students by having them visualise the vocabulary. Material you will need: CD player and CD (ESL songs) Vocabulary picture cards Enough copies of the song lyrics Enough copies of both activity sheets
1. Tell the students that they are going to learn a song about likes and dislikes. Explain both words. 2. Present the picture cards and write the words under them on the board. 3. Have the students practice saying the words (choral repetition). 4. Sing the song pointing to the pictures as they come along. 5. Sing the song a few times but having the students join in .
6. Tell the students that they are going to cut out the little food pictures (1st sheet) and paste them in the correct space (2nd sheet) according to their taste. 7. Have the students glue their pages in their scrapbook or put them in their duo-tang. 8. Self-evaluation at the end of the class.
